I shall praise you, Lord
For bringing me up to this place
As I move toward
The city and hope of my race
As I dare recall
The deeds of our ancestors, their supplication, and prayer
Never once
Losing their faith in their God through the years of despair

I am the blood of Abraham
The seed of an immortal line
Whose life was given to his God
Whose promise to his God is mine
And to this new Jerusalem
Our fathers come at last
The sons of Jacob live again
The glories of our sacred past

A temple in this holy town
